Well, the subject line says it all. I am just wondering how many of the EN Worlders actually played or have played in a Polyhedron Minigame like Pulp Heroes, Omega World etc.

With D&D related I mean Spelljammer or Incursion, non D&D related is V for Victory for instance.

"Played" also includes DMs.

So far, I have run:

Pulp Heroes (several games, and even got to play in a few)
Shadow Chasers (ditto)
Mecha Crusade (once)

And just last night, I was putting the finishing touches on my first two Iron Lords of Jupiter games, to be run next month.

I love me some Polyhedron! :)

I haven't played them, but I've ripped off stuff for my campaign from Omega World, Spelljammer, and Incursion. At one time, I was also fiddling with the Mecha Crusade rules to make something more steampunkish, but laid that project to rest once I heard Sorcery & Steam was on its way.

I should have added an option "I leech rules from mini games for other games". Even I did that: Starting feats from the Spelljammer game. Oh well, the poll is still ten times more complete and objective than the slanted polls you get here on occasion ("Dwarves Suck!"vs. "Dwarves Rule!").

I have never played any of them. My group can hardly find the time to play D&D, let alone some fluffy one off. That said, I have looked at some of the mini games and had ideas. There is a WW2 mini game that I could throw together a night or two of games. But that is about it. Maybe if I was ten years younger and still hung out with my friends every weekend. Back then, we had so much time on our hands, we all ran different games.

I used the Mecha Crusade rules for a scenario of my D&D campaign (and I decided after that to use other rules for my mecha addiction:p)

There also needs to be a "Not yet, buch once my DnD campaign is done I'm running..." option.

I absorbing every mini-game I can for the day when one of my fantasy games reaches its inevitable conclusion and I go looking for something else. I'll also plan on using mini-games when one-offs and con-style games are more applicable (around the holidays, when attendence becomes patchy).

We have a 'Living' style campaign in this area based on the pulp adventures mini game. The rules have been modified a little bit, but it is all still pretty faithful to the polyhedron version.

If people are interested, details can be found at:
www.pulp-adventures.com

I have been considering running a table of this in a private game at Gen con if people are interested . There are currently 5 modules available for the campaign, and we have a pretty good number of players in the Denver area. If people are interested, drop me a line.
