We have a 'Living' style campaign in this area based on the pulp adventures mini game. The rules have been modified a little bit, but it is all still pretty faithful to the polyhedron version.

If people are interested, details can be found at:
www.pulp-adventures.com

I have been considering running a table of this in a private game at Gen con if people are interested . There are currently 5 modules available for the campaign, and we have a pretty good number of players in the Denver area. If people are interested, drop me a line.

Hey buzzard!

Interested in this, but the link isn't working for me!?!?

Back on topic... I've played in one Mecha Crusade pbp that died :( and I'm currently in a Spelljammer pbp campaign here (check my sig). Would love to play in a Pulp Heroes/Iron Lords of Jupiter/League of Extraordinary Gentlemen/Hellboy/Planetary pbp game, though. If anyone wants to start one, let me know :D

I haven't actually DMed a minigame yet, but they are among the source material for players when creating characters for my Exiles-ish campaign. One of the characters is a WWII soldier created from V for Victory! I'll likely end up sending them to a few mini-game worlds, at least the compatable ones.

Try http://www.pulp-adventures.com. It worked for me.

Back on topic - Since it seems my group can only comfortably manage our weekly D&D game I've never had the chance to actually play/run a Poly mini-game, but I mine them for ideas, and love reading them.

Thanks VB, that worked :D Color me embarrassed that I was too lazy to bother spelling out the whole address on my own. BTW if you ever want to try out ANY of the mini-games as a pbp here (even a short one-shot), I'd be willing to give it a go. Just let me know...

Played a one shot "Thunderball Rally" game. It was pretty damn fun. I kept telling the group which 70's/early 80's actor would play each NPC. George Hamilton, Don Rickles, Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier all made appearances.

Hmmm..... ;)

You'll be the first to know.

Cool. One thing I always thought would be fun would be to run a "Battle of the Bands" tournament using the Hijinx rules. Sort of a bash-up between Iron DM and that Bands on the Run reality series that was on VH1, although I'm not sure of the particulars. Even better if Erik Mona ran it :D I'll stop rambling now...

Hmmm... In hindsight, I am a bit unhappy about the poll. I should have asked whether the gaming group actually ahs access to Poly. Oh well...
