Dunno about some of mine personally, most of them suck.
But theres plenty of people with some beauties Ive seen and would like to see in some publication or at least deserve it. However, intellectual copywrite probably dosnt cover anything blurbed out onto a public messageboard, no matter how well meaning.
Intellectual property on the other hand can get kinda messy..

Funny you should mention that. It just so happens that the Book of Erotic Fantasy is based on my life (somewhat of a romanced biography, if you will).

I look for good ideas here all the time, sure. It shouldn't offend anyone, this is the "Brain Trust" of the d20 gaming populace.
If it's a well-developed idea I'll contact the originator and offer to give them proper credit. I keep an eye out for potential freelancers here.
I remember seeing the idea of a Pocket Player's Handbook discussed here, and now Mongoose is putting one out. I thought it was a great idea at the time, I'm glad someone picked it up and ran with it.

I try not to think about it, but I wouldn't doubt that publishers come here for ideas.

If I see an idea that I like and pick it up for my home game, I'll come up with my own variation. The inspiration may come from elsewhere, but the application is mine. That's a likely scenario IMO for a designer too, if they get ideas from message boards.
