What Published Modules Have You Run or Played Multiple Times?

Have you played any published scenarios more than once? Which one(s)? Why? How did your experience change? What did you do about "out of character knowledge"?

Yes, definitely! Here’s the list of modules I’ve DM’d 3+ times (with ones I’ve also played noted too):

X5 Temple of Death

Non-TSR and OSR
Rob Kuntz: Maze of Zayene series, Bottle City, Garden of the PlantMaster (played and DM’d), Maure Castle
Beastmaker Mountain by Bill Fawcett (AD&D; Mayfair Games)
CH12 Seren Ironhand by Tom Moldvay (AD&D; Challenges), as well as the two other modules in the Morandir series CH-1 The Morandir Company

Some classic adventures haven’t aged well, or didn’t work as well with contemporary groups (S2 comes to mind), but largely they’ve been fun to replay with new groups, in new campaigns/contexts. Example: our PCs freed Drelnza in S4, but were unable to slay her, so she began stalking us across the Flanaess ;)

I am interested in how folks feel about published TTRPG scenarios and replayability.

Of the ones above, I feel like most have excellent replay value, even with a DM modifying them significantly from baseline. I’m less fond of S2, B2, and X4-5 than I used to be, and vice-versa for G2 and D3.

Allan.
