Yup. But only for notes, hiding minis and having a reference. Plus it's never directly in front of me, I always put it aside a bit. And I stand a lot.

Cheers, LT.

I stand most of the time when I'm DM'ing, but yeah, I use a screen, and always have. Not just because I want to hide maps, notes, etc. from inadvertant eyes, but also because it's just part of D&D for me... the DM sequestered ever-so-slightly from the players.

I love GM screens, they often keep me from having to refer to the books to look up various things. Some, of course, I love more than others (the 4e DM screen is awesomeness). Even in the online game I run, I find great use from my DM's screen. I use 'em more for reference than to hide dice rolls.

i dont use, as we dont have much "table space".
also, players are not afraid that i might cheat, but im afraid i cant seem them!

and about dice rolling, i have a yellow d20 with white number...very hard to see ;)

I used to. In fact I had this awesome custom-made one that looked like a castle wall made out of thick "science-fair project" board. But I realized they more get in my way so now I do not use them at all. If I need something to hide notes -which I rarely do. It's not often the players at the tables are clawing at my notes or anything- I just put a book over my notes... or just put them on the floor.

I use a screen to hide notes and rolls. I don't use it for charts/reference. I really haven't since my 1E days when you needed to look at a table every single round.

I use a screen for my immediate working area in front of me which may have notes, maps, minis about to be encountered, and dice for the moment. I then have a box turned sideways off to the side for additional items and as my usual dice rolling area.
