Sure, I allow psionics. Right now, the only character that uses it is my own ardent (which is only used if very few people can play, and the party cleric isn't there), but I wouldn't have any problems with a party manifester.

In fact, I like psionics so much I wish vancian magic would vanish and a spell system like psionics would emerge. [Better than the one in UA, though]

Like Elements of Magic? If preparing spells is for suckers, even using other people's spells is for suckers, too! Go home, Agannazar, i make my own evoke fire spell! :D

I allow psionics and typically (although not always) play psionic characters.

If a DM I'm looking to play under doesn't allow psionics, if the reason it isn't allowed isn't sound, I won't play with that DM, because that's usually an indication that we won't get along (either because it's a heavy-handed DM or simply based upon different gaming styles).

I've used it quite a bit as I've always liked psionics (even OAD&D). However, I've only had 1 player recently want to play a psionic character, though he did quite well. He saved the party's lunch on 2 occasions. In the current campaign, however, he's playing a cleric (but still saving the party). Psionics allow for a nice change of pace NPC.

I said no, but I would allow it. Psionics are not normally a part of my games.

Me too. It is allowed, but hasn't been picked up by my players yet. I do occasionally throw a psionic opponent at the party, to great effect :]

I allow psionics in the Eberron game I run (especially since I love the kalashtar) but none of my six players have psionic characters, ran a few sessions of a psionics-focused homebrew that went pretty well, and in general love the flavor of the system. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, although I have no patience for people who call psionics overpowered solely because they don't understand the rule stating maximum pp expenditure=manifester level. There are far more legitimate claims of broken-ness to be made (like some of the energy powers' augmented DCs before they were fixed in Complete Psionic). Anyways, to each their own.
