My option doesn't quite fit the poll. I picked the second one, since I would let a player run a psion if a player asked, but it isn't true that psionics have shown up in the campaign. There's been one psionic villain (a kobold psion/rogue) and the group has found two (IIRC) psionic items.

Psionics play a big role in my game. It simply is another form of supernatural energy use (magick).

IMC wizards are the masters of Formulaic energies.

Clerics are the masters of Avataral energies. Same with Sohei (called Dervishes)

Druids are the masters of Natural energies. Same with Rangers.

Sorcerers are those with a supernatural heritage of magic.

Bards are masters of song magick

Paladins derive their power from the their sheer goodness.

Psions are the masters of innate power. Same with psi-warrior.

I give the party tons of psionic equipment. They often face psionic foes. And some of them choose psionic characters

Yet another poorly conceived poll. I didn't parcipate because the simple option of "I don't allow psionics in my campaign" doesn't exist.

Psionics is great. My players like it. I like it too, but not when mixed in with magic. One of these days I'm going to run a no-magic, all-psionics campaign setting. Damn the torpedoes.

No Psi PCs, but there are psionic critters & NPCs IMC. Different parts of the world have different "takes" on magic -- the part where the PCs start out is "Core D&D"-style, while as they go farther afield, they find less "Core" interpretations.

Psionics are not appropriate for our setting so they're just not going to happen. I happen to like the idea of psionics, but D&D have never done them justice IMO.

A'koss.

Do I use Psionics?

Why yes, I DO, thank you very much! feel my Mind-Blast yet?

IIRC, a previous poll on the subject of people in favor of Psionic use in their campaigns was REALLY close to about 50/50 after hundreds of votes

In one game where I am a player My Monk/Psi Warrior is the only
psionic creature we have encountered so far. EVERY opponent in a combat situation has made their saving throw against my psionics efforts to far. A little frustrating, but I'm only 2/2 now...

I do a lot of Darksun so yeah- I use psionics a lot.

In my Forgotten Realms adventures there is some psionic items and characters but not many. In fact, currently I have 1 mage and 1 cleric but no psionic weilding characters. A few psionic items but mostly magical.

Yes, I think that thought captures my lot's sentiments rather well. I think we'd perhaps try, as ForceUser mentions, a pure Psionic setting. But we're not happy with the muddying addition of Psionics to the Arcane/Divine mix. Not that we couldn't create a handwave, but we see no advantage to do so.
