You know, I always felt that D&D was based as much on Greek mithology and Simbad adventures as is on Middle Earth.

Well, maybe a little less, but anyway it irks me when people say "It doesn´t fit D&D!" D&D has a whole lot of options that could only fit together in Forgotten Realms; in any other setting, you´ll have to exclude some elements.

My option isn't on there either. If someone said "Here you go, here's the rulebooks on psionics," and handed me the rule book for them, I'd probablly look it over and tenatively stat using them.

However, I don't have a burning desire to use psionics, and I'm on a spending budget as far as what products I'm picking up for the next few months.

Psionic Options

I have heavy psionic areas in my world where magic is mistrusted and rarely used; outside of those areas it is rare. My players have the choice to pick where they want to adventure. Usually the psion picks the non-psionic areas, because they have more power and mystery.

I generally try to integrate Psionics into my campaigns, but rarely do any of my players profess an interest in playing a psionically endowed PC.

This may change when I try to run a d20 Modern game using Stephen King's Mid-World (from the Dark Tower series) as a setting.

Hmmm, not enough options on the list. I don't use psionics, it doesn't fit in the campaigns I am running. My group is entirely neutral on the subject, and rather than modify the setting I just left psionics out. I might someday run a psionics based campaign without magic, but to my thinking having both psionics and magic is redundant. (Plus I really did hate 1st edition's psionic rules... Old habits die hard.)

All fine and dandy, makes more sense in that light :).
