Only if you have a quiet pub that’ll let you take up a large table for four hours. That’s a rarity in the US.This is very localised because I still don't get why you would want to play rpgs in a store and have never seen one do it. Magic duels and stuff like that, yes, but actual campaigns? A pub in the afternoons is a less noisy and more comfortable option.

Game stores, on the other hand, will usually have tables and either sell you food or be near a pizza place.

Quite a few gaming bars around my area! But yeah, the US pub scene isn’t as much a social spot.
Oddly enough, Wegmans stores are often a good spot to meet up, they tend to have huge seating areas
