Do you use "voice acting" when you play?

Tempting me to dig out my axe and get an FX box... an inheritance from a friend's dad. (Friend in question is not musically inclined.)

Tables definitely matter on this question. But for most of my PCs, yes. Some tables it is almost all the time, others, only during poignant moments. Now, as a DM, I absolutely do it. I try to focus on voice (although many have a similar voice), mannerisms, fluency, and word choice. I feel like it helps build the world.
 

So much so that my wife and I refer to our home game as "speaking in funny voices."

I try to mix up cadence, vocal styles, even word choices for different NPCs.

And the quality of my accent work is frequently remarked upon.
