With magic, armor gets quite comfortable. First I had leather armor, later upgraded to mithral chain.
The newest model of scale mail reduces encumbrance, has fire resistance and some other nice things.
Some other magic adds cold resistance, so I´ve got all weather armor.
Only fully climatized power armor or enchanted clothes would be easier to carry.
The scalemail is made of red scales with golden colored edges and looks quite impressive. As a priestess of war I am required to look ready for war, so this is not much of a problem.
Armor is off at sleep and at home.
If you care about encumbrance rules I recommend mithral if you get your hands on it.
