My grappling rules:
Grab: Standard action, Brawl + Str or Dex (Reflex negates); sustaining a grapple is a Simple action
Crush: Standard action, Brawl + Str (Might 1/2 damage); crush deals unarmed damage plus Str x 1.5; opponent remains grappled
Pin a grappled opponent: Standard action, Brawl + Str (Might negates); pinned opponent is Helpless; sustaining a pin is a Simple action
Throw: Standard action, Brawl + Str (Might 1/2 damage); throw deals unarmed damage plus Str x 1.5; opponent is prone
Break free from grapple or pin: Standard action, Brawl + Str or Deftness + Dex vs Brawl + Str
If you want to adjust my rules to 3.x, substitute BAB for Brawl, use Fortitude save instead of Might save, and Escape Artist instead of Deftness + Dex. Simple actions are move actions.
