Does anyone still play 3.0e?

I've still got my 3.0 books, and I have no intention of buying 3.5. But, I also have no intention of DMing 3.0 again. I'll play, but I prefer to run other systems.

The people in my group all upgraded to 3.5. We're playing a 3.5 campaign now. Although they all have more experience with 3.5 than I do (they all have a second game that I don't have time to attend) I still sometimes catch them not realizing something had changed from 3.0 to 3.5.

In my local gaming group, we have three campaigns. One where I'm the DM, which uses 3.5e rules; one with another DM who uses 3.0 rules; and one in another game altogether.

You're not one of those people who would take 3.0 Haste even as a 9th level spell would you?

I HATE that comparison. I wouldn't take Haste, I would take Time Stop. Duh!

Forget Time Stop - Mass Haste (6th level) means it's my whole party gettin' the goods, not just me. If I'm alone, sure, Time stop's better; but if my whole party gets two actions to everybody else's one, then we're golden. Whenever a 6th level spell competes with a 9th for mindshare, that's what got me thinking.

IMC we rotate DM's in an ongoing adventure, think of it like different directors for television seasons. When 3.5 came out we were mid "season" so we waited until a new DM came up and then made the switch.

For the most part we have never looked back except to rearrange our houserules as necessary. Our entire group has embraced 3.5 and also picked up a number of the newer 3.5 books (Draconomicon etc.)

Overall I would say we are happy with 90%+ of the changes in 3.5

However I will be of a different opinion if 4e shows up before 2010.
