Does Crushing Surge stack without BRV?

Battlerager Vigor specifically states that the temp hp it grants stacks with the temp hp granted by invigorating powers. What I want to know is whether or not Crushing Surge by itself (without Battlerager Vigor) stacks? I've read both interpretations. My Dragonborn has crushing surge but not BRV and if it doesn't stack without Vigor then it's basically useless to me since I can't retrain a class feature (one handed weapon for brv in this case)

The July errata did away with BRV temphp stacking.

You'd think they'd update the Compendium at the same time they post errata. The Character Builder got updated.

You are right. No more exceptions on the Temp HP Stacking.

Hmm... well that kind of renders Crushing Surge to be nigh useless if it doesn't stack, because it doesn't give you enough temp HPs to be meainingful.

Why? Preventing CON+feats worth of damage every hit seems pretty worthwhile. It's an at will; if it can prevent all incoming damage, something is probably wrong.
