Does your elf use a sword and/or a bow?

I just started a new Elf Barbarian in Alsih2o's campaign.

He's mildly retarded and uses a heavy flail

The answer is yes.

My Wood Elf Cleric/Ranger indeed favors a composite longbow and a longsword (preference in same order).

Yeah, if you use the int score x 10 = I.Q. then Dumb Bear scores a whoping 50! Which qualifies him as "mildly reatarded" by today's standards.

bows and swords are my fav. weapons, though i rarely play an elf

He could use one, its just that he never went out of his way to carry a bow with him.

Yep. I'm a sucker for all the standard fantasy trappings like that. Dwarves are about 50/50 Axe/Hammer in my games.

No. My most recent elf character was a fighter/barbarian using a greatsword modeled loosely after the berserker character from Record of Lodoss War.

Um, a greatsword is a sword.

Elf Fighter 9 uses a falchion
Elf Fighter 6 uses a greatsword
Werewolf Elf Fighter 12 uses 2 bastard swords and a mighty composite bow
Blade Elf Druid 8 used 2 scimitars before he was reincarnated as a badger
Drow Sorcerer 16 uses a rapier and a heavy crossbow (prefers spells)
Vampire Half-Elf Ranger 9 uses 2 Star whips (combo of whip and morningstar)
Vamp Elf Ranger 12 uses Bow and longsword
Vamp Human Cleric 20/Assasain 3 uses a heavy mace and a sicle (cant spell)
Drider Cleric 6 used a light mace and crossbow before her granmother deamed D&D as Satonic
Human Rancher 12 Longsword and Shortsword

Well almost all of our elves use swords...2 use long bows and 2 use crossbows

I am the drow sorcerer and i have a Nightmare as a mount... I cant think of a Kick A** name for it >.<
