Does your gaming group do anything special for Halloween?

Capellan is running a special Halloween adventure for us. Can't wait!

I'm rather looking forward to it, too :)

As arwink notes, we traditionally game on Halloween. Usually it is a one-shot horror game; equally, it is also usually a system we don't play much. If it's small press, so much the better. This year and last year, the system is "Over the Edge". The game: "Salvage Rites". Should be fun.

I am running an extra-special bonus session of our current D20 Modern campaign, "Wings of Icarus," on Saturday. One of my oldest and dearest friends, with whom I've been gaming for about 17 years, is visiting from Colorado this weekend.

The scenario is a modern-day "sequel" to our Beyond the Mountains of Madness campaign, entitled "Escape from Zero Station." (Yes, I have issue #3 of The Black Seal for those of you 'in the know.') Antarctic horrors will abound! Players will be creeped out! Plotlines shall be advanced!

Then we'll watch the Dawn of the Dead remake on DVD. Should be a fun Saturday.

I'm trying to put together a horror oriented session of my normal game (see here). I missed a weekly session, so it has fouled up my timing, but I am trying to see what I can come up with.

Beale Knight is having a party, seems he always does. Maze in the yard for the little ones, lotsa candy and the booze breaks out when the kids thin out.

Beale Knight rocketh!

Besides having a Halloween party where everyone shows up.... nothing. We don't do a special Halloween game session unless there's a game that weekend (there isn't this year).

We usually don't but I'm going to start one. I'm going to try to run a scarey and suspense drven adventure for whomever can show. I'm not sure how well it will woik but I figure might as well try.
