EDIT: We have achieved our goal, please no more donations!

See this thread for background on this:

I am collecting dice for U.S. Army soldiers stationed in Bosnia. If you'd like to donate, please follow these instructions:

Go to the EN World Online RPG Store (the account name is: dommer@prodigy.net, the password is: bosnia.)
You need to log in, surf the category, click the item(s) you want, then click BUY. Then log out. Just adding the items to the cart will save them. DO NOT CHECK OUT!

You will then need to send a payment for the dice directly to us at The Gamer's Bag via PayPal. Each set of dice will be 40% off the retail price. So subtract 40% from your total (the price to send is 40% of the RETAIL price, not the discounted price listed. Roughly $3.50 for speckeled chessex dice) and add $.50 for shipping and send that amount to us. Just go to www.paypal.com . Our PayPal account address to pay is dommer@prodigy.net . If you don't already have a PayPal account, they are free to get and very useful, just follow the website instructions. Questions? Just ask them here or e-mail us at dommer@prodigy.net .

Thanks to everyone who has so generously donated so far! We current have 10 sets donated, so please help us reach our goal of 30! :D

Thanks,

Paladin & Paladinwife

Alternatives for those of us who can't/won't use PayPal?

( and I'll just leave it at that to avoid rants/flames )
Unfortunately that's the only way we can accept cash over the internet. We can accept credit cards through PayPal too, but otherwise we don't know of another way. If it's any consolation, I've never had any problems with PayPal and we've been using them for over 4 months with our business.

Anyone else out there know of another way???

OK... - Done!

I must say that the process has a bit of potential for trouble though:D

If someone desired, could they just send you $4.00 or so on PayPal and then you could buy the dice ?

Good luck & thanks again for organizing this effort.

Sure, we could do that. I figured people might want to pick out the dice themselves, but if anyone wants to just send me the money - go for it. There's a comments section when you use PayPal, just put a note in there saying it's for the soldiers. If you forget don't worry, I'm sure no one's going to just randomly send me money - I'll use it for dice. :D On that note, DONATE - DONATE - DONATE!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

*BUMP*

*BUMP* for more donations.

We would like to get the dice from the EN World store shipped by Friday so that we can get the whole package out next week. I'm starting to worry that we won't be able to meet our goal of 30 sets. :( If we don't meet the 30 set goal by Friday I was thinking we might just scrap this idea, send everyone their money back and just send the Chessex sets and our bags. Of course we'd prefer not to do that...so PLEASE DONATE!!!!

Our current total is: 11 out of 30

*looks at Tot board*

*hangs head in shame; rubs temples with thumb and forefinger*

*sighs*

*brings microphone to lips*

"People....."

*looks up*

"....we can do better than that. We HAVE to do better than that!"

*smiles*

"Come on! We can do it! Let's get those phones ringing, while I bring out our next guest. Send in those pledges, as we are entertained by one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Ladies and gentlemen.... Toto!"

*applause, the crowd goes wild as the band starts playing and the phones start ringing....*

The phones have lit up! We just got a generous donation of 5 sets! So checking the board we now have:

16 out of 30 sets! C'mon folks let's hit the mark! :D
