Actually, they already have - though this being the Warhammer World, they have to do things with more "medieval" techniques.

(Oh, and it helped that I had seen real-life medieval trepanation tools in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg. These were on display next to the "Speculum", a device which was used to "examine the lower body openings"... Who says that museums aren't educational? )

And the PCs figured out that the Army were the good guys after killing only two members...

Yeah- kinda makes up for all the times the DM has to find ways of getting the group to do something.

Most of times, I just let them do whatever they want- or so they think. I give them choices, but every road they choose just leads to the saem thing:

DM: The road forks, the right road leads to a sunny town with lots of trees and birds with the sun shinig brightly. The left road goes into shadows, with barren trees and bats flying around.
Players: We choose the right road.
DM: Walking for a while, you noticed that your feet are stepping deeper than the ground should permit. You hear sloshing noise. Make a will save.
Player: 17
DM: You shake your head and rub your eyes. The illusion disappears and you are presently on a muddy road with no trees and dense fog. Ahead of you is a bog, with a gateway into a dungeon.
Player: we turn around.
DM: You make your way back to the fork in the road, and stare down the same two roads- now both are dark and dank.
Players: I take the left road.
DM: You notice this time that the road merges into the right one... and eventually back to the gateway.
