I'm surprised there are no axes or even polearms with butt spikes, which would make a fine 1d8/1d6 double weapon.

I had a lot of fun playing a Psychic Warrior with Stand Still, Combat Reflexes and Improved Shield Bash who used a Heavy Lance and a Large Spiked Shield. I got a bit of flak from some of my group for using the Heavy Lance on foot but it was a lot of fun. It may not be the greatest damage build but it is a fun easy way to control space. The Chain from OA would also be a great weapon 1d6/1d6 Bludgeoning can be used as either a reach or a double weapon. And do not forget to use Claws of The Vampire IMO the best Psychic Warrior power and great with TWF.

I recommend a sword and board twf style as well.

An option I've been thinking of trying is:

Dwarven Waraxe (or Bastard Sword)
+
Large Shield with the 'Ranged' shield ability (and maybe bashing?)

Throw in the ultra broken Shield Expert and stir.

This way you can bash and axe or throw the shield and then use the axe two handed.

A possible d8 (with bashing)/d10 combo.
