Yep, and it also depends on how much treasure the DM gives out. In my group, both myself and the other main DM don’t give out as much treasure as the published APs or the DMG guidelines, so the players always have plenty to spend their money on.What the NPC bonus should be obviously makes a big difference.My point about the math is that at 50-50 the players are making an average profit of 25% or more. Which is fine until they start investing hundreds of thousands of GP at once. That's kinda cool though too actually.
