Does that mean the product description won't change to indicate when the updated file is available? It's been sitting in my wishlist for a while, but I've been waiting to pull the trigger until I saw the description change.

Ah yes. The new version is up there already. I didn't think to change anything in the description.

Will I get a discount on the print when it comes out since I got the pdf?

Thanks
Chris

Those that have purchased the PDF will be able to purchase a discounted print version (through our website) when it is available.

Got myself a copy last night. I was very happy with it and left comments to that effect on RPGnow. Here are some other things I didn't put there.

I was really surprised (pleasantly) by what wasn't there. No PrCs. No spells. There are a ton of these as it is. A couple of each would have been nice, but it's not like I'll miss them.

I also thought the weapons section was a little light. Really though, in a stone-age setting, once you get past pointy-stick vs. blunt-stick, there probably isn't a lot left to do. (If you haven't got the book, there is more than this here. I'm just oversimplifying.)

Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase. Do you have any similar products in the works? More "setting starters" I guess?

Yes, we do plan on other similiar products, but our release schedule is limited in its capacity. We currently have enough products in the works to keep us until 2006 at our current layout and finishing capabilities. Which means I can't really tell you when such products would be available.

You are correct as to why the weapons section was a little light... with most of the technology centered around what could be "whittled down" or otherwise easily constructed from bone, stone, hide, and wood there was not alot of new additions that could have been made to the weapons area. I myself am looking at what more we could possibly add... namely through reading books on ancient weaponry as well as life in prehistoric times.

I'm glad you liked the product... if you have anything you might like to see in future Lost Prehistorica products let me know... I cannot promise anything, but I'm quite open to considerations at this time of development.
