I've posted the details from the 3.5 update in this thread.
Urban Heroes: Characters Ready for the Dangers of the City, by Stan! A very general look at adventurers spending time in cities, with a particular focus on suitable employment. Four new feats give social, economic, and terrain advantages, although most can only apply to specific city. Three class combos for urban adventurers: the Aristocrat Thief, the Local Hero, and the Naturalist (a sort of explorer celebrity) -- all of which require prestige classes from Song and Silence and/or Masters of the Wild.
Cities of the Planes: N'Gati, The Astral Fortress, by James Jacobs. Built on an inactive construct drifting through the Astral Plane, the city is inhabited mostly by retired adventurers. Its history and current policies are covered in detail, with much briefer looks at important organizations and locations (with no maps or illustrations). The N'gatispawn aberrations that defend the construct are written up, as are the magic items that bring people there.
Faith And Honor: Piety For Non-clerics, by Skip Williams. Presents eight character archetypes (such as admirer, crusader, doubter, nihilist) for the pious (or even the godless). Each presents varying ways it might come out in their personalities, with notes for different alignments and classes. Eight feats allow characters to channel divine power to gain clerical abilities, give bonuses, or boost another's spellcasting. There are two magic items useful to the pious or clerics.
Fear The Invincible Blade: Learn to Fight with Flair, by Robin D. Laws. Presents a number of "combat flourishes," catchphrases for various combat actions and feats grouped around ten themes (such as classical swordsmanship, pit-fighter taunting, eastern martial arts, orcs). Many (if not most) of these amount to names for specific moves.
Venom And Coil: The Secret Life of the Yuan-Ti, by Robin Laws. A detailed look at the organization, culture, and strategies of yuan-ti society. Includes details of an addictive substance they use to gain control of individuals, three yuan-ti feats, and ECLs for yuan-ti PCs. There are also thumbnail illustrations of yuan-ti weapons and armor.
Bazaar of the Bizarre: Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall, by Jacqui Smith. After a helpful historical and mythical look at mirrors, this presents ten magic examples (such as mirrors of Auras, of Dreams, of the Ages), three mirror-related spells, and two related magic items.
Guild Secrets: The Bladeworks, by Andy Collins. Originally a weaponsmith's guild, now mostly made up of various fighting classes. Two agility based combat feats: Agile Riposte (adapted for D&D from D20 Modern) and Deceptive Dodge.
The Arms of the Kraken, by George R.R. Martin. A complete novella excerpted from A Feast for Crows, the upcoming fourth volume of his Song of Ice and Fire series (which will be adapted as a campaign setting in issue #307).
Revision 3.5 Update, by Ed Stark. Examples of the upcoming revision of the D&D rules on the theme of combat, one from each of the core books.
Up on a Soapbox "Getting Even Puts The Other Guy Ahead" by Gary Gygax. The first ever D&D monk PC is frustrated.
House Rules "Metamagic Feats" by Andy Collins. In this variant, the standard metamagic feats can only be used once per day, but are done on the fly. This is a new column that will present the house rules of various designers and editors from roleplaying R&D, with the first few being written by Collins.
DM's Toolbox "Can You Keep A Secret?" by Eric Cagle. Dealing with metagame abuses of player knowledge.
Dungeoncraft "Fantasy Cities, Part 2: Building A City," by Monte Cook. General guidelines for building up detailed cities.
Sage Advice, by Skip Williams. Magic, and combat.
Pullout Insert "City Street / Sewer Battlemap." illustrated by Mike May. 21 x 30 poster with an intersection on one side, and a section of sewers on the other. It fits together with the insert in Dungeon #97, and another in Dragon #306.
Scale Mail. A reply to a letter has stats for the dire ferret from the cover of issue #292.
