Dragon # 315 Campaign Classics - opinions?

I think it's worth it. However, one should be aware that each article takes a specific aspect of the setting, or a few aspects, and convert them to the new edition. For example, the Birthright article converts Bloodlines to 3rd edition. Overall, though, I like the issue, even though the articles may seem too brief and/or tightly focused for some.

An example of the latter - the Ravenloft article is just a set of stats for Strahd von Zarovich at various levels of power. It's pretty much a dead-tree version of "Fight Club" from the Wizards of the Coast website.

The next one?
Erik Mona did announced making Campaign Classics theme an annual thing, starting next year. (Yes, they missed this year, big time. :( )

As for issue #315, it's worth it having if you're a fan of any one of the old settings.

I quite enjoyed the Campaign classics issue. As I remember, the Ravenloft section had two set of Strahd stats, and an updated, detailed map of his castle.

I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one.

Key emphasis on looking forward to the next one. Campaign classics deserves to be at least an annual bit and I'd love to see that actually be the Dragon annual.

And the Ravenloft article wasn't about the Ravenloft setting, it was just a 3rd ed update of the 1st ed Ravenloft adventure. There was nothing to link it to the setting.
