There is a feat there (Alternative Source Spell) that allows you to prepare divine spells as an arcane spell (though using a divine spell slot) or vice versa. You just need to be able to cast both divine and arcane spells.
This means that the divine lightning bolt prerequisite for hexer is much, much easier. Cleric 1 (travel domain)/wizard 6 could qualify. A single class cleric (travel, air) could qualify at 7th level if he or she took the Customize Domain feat and changed the 4th level air domain spell to lightning bolt.
Alternative Source Spell also means that a cleric 1/wizard 3 will qualify for mystic theurge! (Pre-requisite: able to cast 2nd level divine spells and 2nd level arcane spells).
Again I say... wow!
