Thanks for that update. It made the Ferrous Dragon article have more cohesion to it.

Overall, this is a great mag but sad that in 3 short issues, it will be no longer Paizo.

In any case looking forward to seeing Demogorgon once again grace a cover.

I just hope that means #359 has Orcus on it!

Mithral dragons don't exist in 3E and I don't recall them in past editions, either. Adamantine dragon was supremely powerful in 2E, but Dragon Magazine released them a couple of years ago in one of their anniversery issues as a planar dragon from Bytopia. Which makes sense, because the only prominent adamantine dragon I can think of from 2E actually does live in Bytopia according to the Planes of Conflict boxed set for Planescape.

Adamantine dragons were planar dragons native to Bytopia in 2e, too; they come from the 2e Monstrous Compendium Outer Planes Appendix. I don't know what you're thinking of, but there weren't any adamantine dragons anywhere else apart from the named one in Planes of Conflict.

The Mithril Dragon appears on page 51 of Practical Planetology. They are native to Radole, a Spelljammer world.

The second reason was to pave the way for another group of dragons that are all chaotic. I don't have a copy of the issue yet, so I'm not sure if the reference remained, but in the original submission we mentioned this chaotic group by name.

Any hint as to when and where we'll meet those guys?
