I have got to have this one. My Subscription ran out when my wife didn't send it back in. I had to renew online, and am going to have to hunt the stores for it. I will be starting a PbP game for some friends, with shipboard characters, they'll have to decide if they want to be pirates or not. I want to modify the city, and see if I want to use any of the Pirate stuff in the issue.

Counting down to the inevitable wail of horror from people who will argue that Ninjas ought to have d12 HD, Fighter BAB, all good saves, 8+Int skill points and the unarmed combat and AC progression of a monk in order to be historically accurate. ;)

10...

And they'd would truly deserve these, because we all know the basic facts about ninjas:

1. Ninjas are mammals.

2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.

3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people.

BTW: Thanks, Thalmin, for posting this! Reminds me that I have to buy this month's Dragon. :)

So... Pirates and Ninjas? :D

I think a friend told me they were natural enemies, or something.

Wonder if that reference is intentional. Or if I'm just imagining whatever reference I'm referring to. um. :heh: I remember it being amusing, though.

I think that's ninjas and vikings.

I'm astounded to see another Hollow World article so soon, especially considering how long the setting's been dead. I wonder if it's just because of the "dinosaur" theme, or if we're going to start seeing a regular "campaign classics" article series because of all the feedback that last issue generated...

Maybe Hollow World is just a cover for Eberron? Aren't there dinos in the new pulp noir fantasy setting?
