No one got it Sunday or Monday, as there were was no mail in the US those two days.

Yes, there is a new DDM map in the magazine.

Hi! Just got my Dragon in the mail, and I've only had a chance to skim through it but it looks like it'll be a good one. Some of the things that caught my eye flipping through it:

A DDM map "Drow Outpost" is included in the package- I'm not a DDM player so I can't comment much on it's usefulness but it's certainly impressive looking.

A picture of a "Marut Inevitable", "Xorn", and "Mounted Drow" from the upcomming Underdark mini's set- I've seen the latter two in one of the previews at the wizards sight but I haven't seen the Marut before. It looks like a very nice sculpt.

D&D II: Wrath of the Dragon God- This campy D&D movie aired last Saturerday on Sci-fi channel and is being released on DVD in November. What a didn't know was that they will be including a low level adventure "brought to you by Dungeon Magazine", which weaves into the movies plot. I was gonna pick this up anyway, but here's another reason. :p

Monsters of the Mind: minions of the mind flayers- This article gives us five new monsters; Brainstealer Dragon, Illithocyte, Mind Worm, Nerve Swimmers (a swarm ;) ), and Ustilagor, along with psionic varients for those of us who use the XPH, and tips for incorperating these monsters into Faerun and Eberron.

Demonomicon of Iggwilv: Zuggtmoy- A massive article with stats for the lady of fungi, her avatar, history and goals, her cult, some new plant monsters and a new prestige class "Thrall of Zuggtmoy".

Eternal Evil: The Lords of Dust- Written by Keith Baker, I'm looking forward to reading though this article first (I love Eberron  )At a glance it looks like we get some history of the LoD, their Organiztion, 5 "Dark Lords" (not Rajahs, but fiends active on Eberron!) and Adventure hooks.

The Ecology of the Shadar-Kai- I know next to nothing about Shadar-Kai so I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one.

Bazaars of the Bazarre: Buying Magic in the free city- This article looks like it follows with the Age of Worms adventure path. I don't have a subscription to Dungeon so I don't know much about Age of Worms, but I'll be swiping some stuff from this for my homebrew. I like the three pages of "Magic Face Paints", single uses magic items created with the Craft Wonderous Item feat.

Sage advise is totally devoted to the Alter self-Polymorph line of spells.

Class Acts- The things that jumped out at me were, Halfling Wizard substitution levels, [purification] feats that are powered by a paladins Remove Disease ability, and The "Spell Graft" feat, which lets a sorcerer sacrifice one of their spells known to gain supernatural abilities based on the spell they sacrificed.

Well, I'm going to grab some dinner and sit down to give it a good read. I'll check back later tonight if anyone has any questions I can try to answer them.

glad to hear it. :) just wished they had used another one or two of our conversions... but Ustilagor and Illithocyte are fine, fine creatures! :)
