Dragon Magazine: Monster Ecologies to be released!

Will I be able to find this on the magazine rack in most of the retail outlets that carry Dragon magazine?

I assume so. It will be solicited to the same accounts via the usual method of magazine solicitation. Dealers will, of course, have the right to order as many or as few as they wish, but I suspect that most places that carry Dragon will give it a try.

That's not a bad way to make sure it gets into places that might otherwise not order Paizo books. Smart.

If it gets you around the WotC approval process, I hear that Dragon Magazine: Incursion might be a profitable reprint/compilation, as might Dragon Magazine compilations of monsters, spells and so on ...

Well at least Paizo's got something dragon-related to release in 2007. That goodness for that. And some nice choices too! *loved the Ecologies on Spawn of Kyuss and Draco-lich*

I've been awaiting Incursion and Dark Sun compilations from Paizo for a while now. I'd especially like the latter, to get all that crunchy goodness in one place.

I'm excited about this product. I'm even more excited about the possiblities of other products in a similar format if it is a success.

This part intrigues me: "Drawing from the ongoing and popular "Monster Ecologies" series, this giant collection features new rules, art, details, and encounters for some of the most fearsome and fantastic monsters in the history of Dungeons & Dragons."

So, have the Ecologies been expanded further than the original appearances?

I see the artwork is up now. What's that on the cover?

Hmmm, I'll have to see this one to know how I feel.

I'm not a fan of much of the recent art for the ecology articles, it just isn't my style.

You'll need more stats, more variants, cohesive format, better art for me to pay for this again. Even then, I'm not 100% sure.

We're all still pulling for another DC, this one with more stuff from older issues!
