Dragon Queen!

Are you avoiding boxes with Nightmare art?

Note that the problem appears to only have been the later cases. If his store(s) got the earlier cases, than it won't matter which boosters he picks up.

Bought three more boxes.
Another Fire Elemental, A Purple Worm, and a Displacer Beast.

6 boxes and not a single, damn rare.
Assuming you mean "Huge Rare", I'm on Booster 7 now, with only one Eldritch Giant.

I like the box opening, it's fun. So I ordered boosters from Amazon (I'm nearing the end of a trial Prime) and staggered the delivery to get one every day this week.

It's fun. :)

It is *seriously* worth buying this set by the case. Sure, you may get the "identical case" syndrome, but that's just as likely with individual boosters. The bonus is that you get 2 almost-guaranteed huge rares in each case.

Cheers!

Yep, Huge Rare. ;)

I had much better luck with the distribution on Giants of Legend (which I hear had some problems with that or something), so I'm just a little miffed that I haven't gotten any huge rares yet.

The non-huge rares have been good so far though, but I wants me a dracolich!

In GoL, there was a huge rare in every 4 packs.
In WotDQ, there is a huge rare in every 3 packs.

Oh, and cases are smaller (6 instead of 12 packs) in WotDQ.

Cheers!

Then you rip through them all in like 3 minutes and you're done.

Where's the fun in that!

Besides, with my luck I'd still not get a Green Dragon.

"Dragon Queen,
Feel the beat from the tambourine,
Yeah yeah..."

Sorry, just goofing on the subject line. Won't happen again.

Okay, it probably will happen again. Your point?

Quick question:
Where does everyone order their cases from?

I haven't order cases of DDM yet, but the answer will be either of my FLGS. I want them to continue running tournaments, and the games will have to be making them money for them to want to do that. I may not choose to do so regularly, but I want to have that option.

Plus, the prices I can get from them are only slightly more than online + S&H. More than worth it for the time savings, and supporting friends.

Got my cases today (3) - Oh, Christmas in July! :) *giddy laughter*

Got nearly every figure but am missing a few rares
Aspect of Tiamat (bummer)
Golden Protector
Meepo, Dragonlord (double bummer - I really wanted this one)
Slaughterstone Eviscerator
Cadaver Collector
Griffon Cavalry (though my son got it in his case (Very pretty fig))
Large Fang Dragon (#1 son got this one too)

Ended up with 3 Goliath Cleric of Kavaki; however, luck of luck I only got one of the crappy Bluespawns, I was ever so happy I didn't ended up with a crap load of the most useless mini in the bunch.

So far the paint jobs have been much better than the recent ones quite exceptional in most cases, although someone should lose their head over the crappy Whitespawn paint (reminds me of the Harbinger goblin sniper - yellow-red face with two black dots for eyes and no detail), although I did get 1 out of 6 that was actually just bad, not really crappy - compared to the other 5, it was the Mona Lisa...
