The aspect of Tiamat seems to be everywhere. Just about everyone notes getting one, and when I was in the local shop, even the shopkeeper's son had one in the first few boxes opened. The prices it seems to be generating might not hold up if this apparent trend continues.... but we shall see when my cases arrive (scheduled for monday ups delivery).

I got the Dracolich. *glee*

Some of the medium sized rares are really good! The War Weaver and the Spellscale Sorcerer struck me as singularly interesting pieces.

I did not get the Eldritch Giant, as well as Meepo, the Slaughterstone Eviscerator, Wizened Elder Watcher, and Dragonborn Fighter (all have since been ordered on eBay).

They did make up for the paint disaster in Wardrums. Those figures look real nice.

The only real annoyance (beside the lack of gnomes - again!) is the Griffon Cavalry - I have three, and they keep falling over. Have to do something about it.

What you got was 2 extra of Tiamat and Bahumat. Not bad rares to double up on. You will be able to flip either of em - Tiamat especially, quite nicely.

I think his point was the distribution doesn't look very random.

I'll order a full set on Ebay in a month or two after the budding dies down a little. Done that with the last two sets, and it's much easier (and cheaper) than buying cases and trading. But I did buy one box, just for kicks. Pulled an Eldritch Giant. Very nice, the paint job on him is excellent.

I bought 2 boxes last weekend and got the Aspect of Bahamut. I don't recall the other figures but they all looked nifty. I ordered 3 cases and hope they show up this week so I can sort them out prior to our games next weekend.

Who the hell are Dol Arrah, Lyreth(?) and a couple of the others that are out there now????

Dol Arrah is an Eberron god of good and the sun(sorta).

Syreth is a god from the Complete Warrior, though I don't immediately recall his portfolio other than that it was kinda bland.

So, happy with the huges, though a huge Dragon would have been nice. Less happy with the rares... In the future I'll stick with ordering by the mini on-line.
