DRAGON ROOTS Magazine fact page

Good luck getting the magazine running. I bought a copy at the Source earlier today, and I plan to continue buying future issues so long as it isn't 4e-focused (yep, I'm one of the dreaded 4e naysayers! :P)

I'd buy a subscription, but with shipping at such punitive levels, it's actually cheaper to buy issues individually at the Source.
I'm glad you liked it. Note: subscriptions will get some bonuses, like for our next issue, which will be hard to market in the stores. I understand the shipping is pricey. I wish I could lower it.

Send me your e-mail with your address. I'm not above hand delivery for a smaller price on shipping if it not that far.

How many other Editor-in-Chiefs can say that.

With customer service like that, you'll turn me into a diehard Dragon Roots supporter yet! ;)

With respect to the shipping prices, I completely understand why they're so high - it's not like you can go to the post office and say "Look, shipping my magazine costs 50% of the cover price!" and get a discount. Maybe next year, once you've built up a legion of subscribers, eh?

Good luck with your project. I appreciate what you are trying to do by producing a print magazine.

Unfortunately, as an "overseas" customer I can't afford the eleven dollars shipping out of my gaming budget. I appreciate there's nothing you can do about that, but hopefully you can see why some of us are more interested in PDFs rather than print at this time.

Anyway, I've bought issue 0 in PDF.

Some publishers are worried that the GSL will prohibit the use of OGL material. I hope not, because presumably that would mean you'd have to switch completely to 4th edition in due course.
