Dragon Stalkers

"Hmm? What can you see?" Asmund asks Chanson as the man nods towards the demolished building. He peers closely at the rubble, looking for anything out of the ordinary.

Chanson will slowly scan the rest of his surroundings, then silently draw and nock an arrow then move warily toward the scaled limb.

Upon looking closer at the rubble, it looks like the limb is similar to the creature the Baron showed you. The size is about the same, though the rest of the body is covered in the rubble all around.

"Ah, another one." Asmund mutters as he bends down to touch the arm. He feels for a pulse, hoping for a prisoner they can question without resort to magic.

"As to where we're heading, we need to speak with the scout to find out. Hopefully when the Baron returns, we'll have more idea."

Asmund finds no pulse in the creature, and by all other signs, it looks and feels(from the strangely cold temperature of the arm) to be dead.

A moment later, the door from the building opened and the Baron stepped out, looking around a moment, then to all of you, "He is awake...he can speak with you now..." the Baron trailed off to look at the creature Asmund is inspecting, "Another?"

Mazarin nods. "Yes...it doesn't look to be alive, although Asmund could tell you better than I." He shrugs, and turns to the others. "Unless there's anything else to do with this creature, we ought to go speak with him."

"It seems quite dead." Asmund says sadly as he drops the arm back to rest on the rubble. "Still, it may provide yet more information about what we face. I am a little concerned about the level of help this dragon seems to have acquired. This attack must have taken some coordination and organization, given the powerful nature of the creatures involved."

"How many of the dragonfolk would you say joined the attack on your city?" He asks the Baron. "Two we know of for certain, but if we could gain a better estimate of the forces arrayed against your people, we can better plan our strategy."

Chanson regards the baron with growing respect. "It's rare enought hat a settlement survives to call for our aid directly, let alone stand against a dragon with help, and even kill its servants. Painful though it was, you and your people should be proud."
