You're right. Perhaps I have been too harsh. I am only human too. I will check out the DLCS book and have a look at what you've done. I can't promise I will like it, but I will do my best to have an open mind. You deserve that much. I'm sure that you have done some really good work.

If I do end up playing Dragonlance once again, I can at least say that I wouldn't want to use the 3.5 Sorcerer. I wonder, you said you guys had worked on a 5th Age magic system that you ended up abandoning. How far did you get with it? Is there any possibility you could post it on Dragonlance.com so that those of use who don't like the 3.5 Sorcerer will have another option, one that doesn't need to be official?

That's up to Jamie. As far as I am aware, we're not planning to, because no matter if we do say it is unofficial, just because one of us wrote it, it could be taken as official... I'll hafta ask Jamie when he gets back from his trip.

Stormprince, are you guys planning to release any modules for the DLCS? As a totally new DM, and a long time fan of DL, I'd love to play a campaign set on Krynn, but creating my own adventures is something currently far beyond my ability. I plan to pick up the campaign setting either way, but it would be cool to be able to run a game set in the world using a module untillearn what the hell I'm doing.:D

Actually, we are. I'm in the process of writing the first part of a 3-part "epic" (lowercase, not Epic rules ;) ) mega-adventure spanning across Krynn. The adventure stands alone from the novels, not requiring pregenerated characters, and yet the impact of the adventure will be felt throughout the game and the novel series for years to come :)

The Key of Destiny, perhaps?

That's fantastic to hear, especially for someone in my shoes. I look forward to it. :)

Excellent! I'm having a blast writing the adventure(s), and I'm really hoping that people enjoy them :) I'm trying a few different things in them, things that I haven't really seen in other adventure products...I want each adventure to truly stand out as something really interesting and different, yet utterly true to Dragonlance.

So how big will these adventures be? Like Return to Temple of Elemental Evil big? How long, on average, do you guess it will take to complete them?
