Of course, if you can't compete with a product, don't talk about it, is the best strategy. At a guess the reason being Ben can’t afford to print the tens of thousands of copies required for the economics of scale to kick in.

Not sure why you’re so hostile towards Ben. If we’re talking about things that aren’t a good look, that’s a place to start.Of course, if you can't compete with a product, don't talk about it, is the best strategy.
I'm not sure if he would consider it OSR. His usual wheelhouse is OSR and NuSR, particularly D&D adjacent. He does occasionally cover things like Forbidden Lands, but Dragonbane may not quite be the game for him or his target audience.I've also been hoping Ben Milton of Questing Beast would cover Dragonbane. He must know about it by now?
Then again, I've heard him say in a few reviews that he got the product gratis. So maybe that's part of his criteria.
Now that I remember, it also probably doesn't hurt to have Ben write for your game as well, as he did a Forbidden Lands adventure. Holy Crap! This 3rd Party Dragonbane Kickstarter - Windheim Falling - is getting Luke Gygax as a guest writer!
That does sound great. I had pegged Hot Spring Island as a Pirate Borg sandbox, but all of them would be great with Dragonbane. That is cool and I assume it's because the Nordic Skalds feel DB's OSR vibe as well. I really want to take DB for a spin in a bigger sandbox like Neverland, Hot Springs Island, or Dolemnwood.
Sweet music to my ears. Though I don't enjoy it so much from the OSR perspective as much as I do the Moorcock Multiverse perspective. But yeah, from what I gather, demons in Dragonbane are basically extradimensional "aliens."On the other hand, DB seems obsessed with making any really weird a demon. It seems to come with the OSR chaos/order viewpoint and perhaps that anything interdimensional is labeled a demon be it spiritual or not.
