Dragonblood Sorc sub level 4 + Maximize SLA

the Dragonblood Sorceror substitution level for 4th level allows the Sorc to convert one spell known into a SLA by sacrificing spell slots. He can also change the designated spell later on.

The feat Maximize Spell-like Ability would apply to this, but what if one changed the spell that was a SLA after taking MxSLA? Would the MxSLA transfer over, or would it be tied to the previous spell?

I don't think you can retrain it because you would not be qualified to take it if you could not have it at the earlier time.

Without seeing the text, I can't say for certain, but since you chose the spell for Maximize Spell-like Ability when you take the feat, the feat is only for that SLA.

It is Maximize Spell-like Ability[chosen spell], not Maximize Spell-like Ability[best spell you have access to].

That's rather punishing feat-wise, though. What about a middle ground that'd let the character change the MSLA'd spell when they would otherwise be able to swap out sorcerer spells known? I.E. at 6th, 8th, etc.
