DragonEye distribution?

First Post
OK, so I understand the odds that something...odd...will happen to someone, somewhere if enough "random" packs are opened. But I've opened three DragonEye packs and gotten 3 Carrion Crawlers as my Rare. Additionally, I bought a Carrion Crawler as a single a while back -- someone else locally must have had a spare Carrion Crawler as well.

I'd just chalk this up to "randomness" but the clerk at my gamestore mentioned (without any prompting) that "there are some problems in the distributions of the packs..."

So, has anyone else noticed anything odd about the sorting algorithm? It's a really small set, so I'd expect lots of duplicates, but 3 of 3? (At least the Carrion Crawler is cool; it could have been something junky...)

That is strange. In my gaming group we have probably opened about 30 packs of Dragoneye, and not a single one of us has pulled a Carrion Crawler. I have seen more Shambling Mounds come up than the odds would seem to suggest, but never the same rare coming up in 3 straight boxes!

A crate of boosters had the following interesting mix...

Pairs of identical rares where the boosters were next to each other in the crate.

IE: Two dire apes, two carrion crawlers.

Also there were two Orc Druids although they weren't next to each other.

Several of the boosters had identical mixes of uncommons, and the common mix was weird as well with something like 14 Dwarf Barbarians in 16 boosters but not a single Elf Spearguard or (thankfull) Dretch.

Its put me right off ordering crates or even buying multiple boosters from the same supplier.

I had the same problem, except with dire lions instead of carrion crawlers. Heck, in 6 boosters, the only dragon I've got was a draconian.

I've had a similiar problem, I got 3 red dragons and like 7 stone children. I'm hoping I can trade some of them at GenCon this year.

i've been breaking up my purchases to avoid the problem.

yes, the problem is real as far as i can discern.

regionally people are getting more of one type vs another.

i have a lot of extra brass dragons. before i started breaking up the purchases.

Really I can't get my hands on a Crawler or Salamder for that fact, But in the case that I bought I got 3 brass dragons and 3 dire lions
