Deadly Denizens Vol. III Oct Halloween Special Art Preview #5: An undead spirit rises from the upcoming Halloween issue of Dragonix’s Deadly Denizens Volume III, an eerie addition perfect for haunting your darkest adventures. Born from ancient Mesopotamian myth, the Rabisu is a malevolent spirit said to lurk at thresholds, waiting to seize the unwary as they cross between light and shadow. Its name translates to "ambusher" or “lurker,” which reflects its defining behavior. It embodies hunger, envy, and the dread of what lies just beyond the door, preying upon those who let down their guard. The Rabisu is drawn to thresholds and crossings, places symbolic of transition, where adventurers and explorers alike may be caught unprepared.

What exactly does it do? Its standard variant is a Fearsome Ambusher, radiates a Malefic Aura, and can become Invisible at will.
