Dragonlance CS - Should I get it?

Oh yeah...

The noble class is just like the noble in WoT and Star Wars, and well situated for a story oriented campaign.

Can you possibly expand on this? I don't have either of those books, so that means nothing to me.

BAB? HP? Special abilities? Skill Points?

The noble is basically a bard without spells, but the ability to call in favors to get info, plot hooks, whatever. Strong ref and will saves, decent bab (starts at +0 ends at 15/10/5), and 4 skill pts/level. They also get the abiltity to turn a cross class into a class skill, along with things like Inspire Confidence, inspire greatness, and this ability to Coordinate which basically adds to the aid another check. Overall, it fits in a game where you are aiming for more story and less hacking.

As far as the rest, there are a bunch of new feats, though most of the ones that arent +2/+2 are for draconians or minotaurs, or are more story based. There are a few pages of spells which are pretty cool, though there are better ones in the Age of Mortals book.

Monsters are cool, with an awesome death knight template, draconians, fireshadows, dragonspawn, skeletal warriors, spectral minions, thanoi, brutes, and updated looks on dragons.

PrCs are definatly aimed for the setting. Both Knights of Solamnia and Knights of Takhisis have their set of three each, along with the wizard of high sorcery, which functions similar to the red wizard of thay, but cooler imo =)

The cool PrC, though, for non DL players, is the Dragonrider class. It allows you to get a Dragon cohort, and all sorts of synergistic bonuses when riding a dragon, both for the mount and the rider. There is also an inquisitor PrC which is basically good at gathering info, and avoiding traps and hits. The Legendary Tactician has a bunch of abilities for larger scale battles and commanding armies, raising morale and such, and the Righteous Zealot has a lot of compulsion and oration abilities.

anything else?

again, its mostly just flavor. The rules are as they appear in the 3.5 MM. Age of Mortals has stats on how to advance dragons to huge proportions.

Don't get it!!!!

Don't get the book. Dragonlance should have stayed dead after TSR killed it to make 5th Age. I mean really, how much can one stomach of kender, gully dwarves and gnomes (tinker gnomes that is)?

But despite people havign had the book for ages now, there's been remarkably little discussion about it.

Dragonlance hasn't been released to stores yet, its release date is Friday. It was available Gen Con (so I read) and can be ordered at Margaret Weis.com (autographed copies!). It it has only had limited availability up to this point; that may be why it hasn't been discussed much yet.

However, DL has generated long discussion threads in the past, and there are currently 3 DL-related threads on the front page. I'd say DL's release will be a big topic of discussion.

This is why I'm surprised. ususally when someone manages to get an early copy of a WotC book, there's piles of threads with people asking for details. There are several people who got it at gencon, others who pre-ordered from Margaret Weis as you say, but no 'I have the book, let me answer all' type threads, like I did for Feind Folio or Eric's done for some FR stuff.
