Dragons and Caster Level

Example - a young adult silver dragon has a caster level of 5.

He casts as a 5th level sorcerer, and casts cleric spells (plus four domains) as arcane spells.

Does he get the Spells Known and Spells per Day table of a 5th level sorcerer, and the Spells per Day + Domain Spells of a 5th level cleric?

Or does he just get the Spells Known of a 5th level sorcerer, with spells able to be chosen from the sorcerer, cleric, and domain spell lists?

I'll say thats a good question, and don't know the offical answer. I have always done it as they cast spells as a sorcerer, but have access to the sorcerer and cleric spell lists (as well as domains)

Since the cleric spells are cast as arcane spells, I would say that the dragon only knows a number of spells as a 5th level sorcerer, but can choose from any list of wizard, cleric, and the domains listed.

Dragons are powerful creatures.

I found a dragon in RttToEE - yup, they can fill Sorcerer Spells Known with cleric spells; they don't get separate lists.

Thanks, all.

Do they automatically know the spells from the domains or must they choose them as spells known?

Far as I can tell, a 5th-level sorcerer knows 2 second level spells, which must come from the Sorcerer list.

A 5th caster level silver dragon knows 2 second level spells, which must come from the Sorcerer list, Cleric list, or the Domain lists he knows.

So he could know Heat Metal from the Sun Domain list and Cat's Grace from the Sorcerer list, for example.
