[Dragonstar] Adventures

Eye Tyrant

First Post
Okay, just got the download from FFG for their adventure. Just curious if anyone else knows of any others, or if any here have written their own yet.

I'm preparing an introductory adventure, to play the invasion of my home world (a typical D&D world) by the Dragon Empire, and changing my rather typical home campaign into a Dragonstar one :)

I'm sure other sci fi campaigns can be adapted to Dragonstar. Typical campaigns for Traveller are military campaigns, spy, and merchant campaigns. Or the typical give the PC's a ship and see what trouble they get into!

I'm planning on using the free adventure for the players in my home game as a one shot.

Lensflare Campaign...

Ours is definately of the "Give the PCs a Ship and see what toruble they get into" variety. They have a mysterious scientist onboard, a (somewhat) useless Outlander and the ship has a dark secret...

Oh... then there's the entire planet of Devourer Nano just 200 miles below them as the last episode closed out...

I love DMing Dragonstar... :D

Try some Shadowrun adventures

I am just starting a new campain. The first adventure is as far as the players are concern is to retrive some stolen missiles. :)

It is actualy the start of a mystery into why some one is mass producing missles of Golddragon Slaying.

I am going to left lots of stuff out of a few Shadowrun adventures until they get a ship. :)

I just was browsing the Creature Catalog and came up with the idea of having the PC's find a ship wreck on an empty planet. However the 40 survivors are all Olive zombies now! Kind of a horror sci-fi cross....

CREEPY #109 (OOP, 1979/80 B&W horror comic magazine) had a great comic in it along the same lines. It was called "Alien Affair" or "Alien Factor" and had a space fungus grow on the outside of a spaceship, trapping the astronauts inside, and using the ship as an incubator to turn the astronauts into fungus monsters. It was a great story!

!!

I saw on another news site that FFG has reached a deal to let Mystic Eye Games & Thunderhead games to make Dragonstar modules (apparently because FFG isn't, other than for Living DS).

Pretty cool, because I like MEG's stuff. Not exactly slick looking products, but they put a lot of effort into them and have good ideas
