Sasaki will skirt the area counter-clockwise, keeping good cover between himself and the enemy. Hopefully he will meet up with Mossaka.

~Perhaps a rush from an unexpected direction may throw the enemy into dissaray.~

Seeing Horatio give up so easily puts the arbiter in a tough position. I can't leave the two of them here on their own. I just hope the others are still around and haven't abandoned us three, Banwyl thinks to himself. Watching the leader's eyes, he slowly raises his hands in the air. Not moving forward, he waits for the soldiers to come to him.

When Mossaka's call rings out, Banwyl uses the distraction it provides to quickly tumble forward into a crouching position, firing his lightstick without unslinging it at the dark leader.

Three of the human soldiers approach while three more keep you all in their sights. Horatio and Kaalek stand without offering any resistance. Banwyl however acts. His finely honed muscles respond to his commands and swing the shouldered boom stick in line with the Dark Elf Officer and fires.

The red bolt streaks across the forest before strikeing the air just in front of the elf. The blast reveals and invisible shield floating just in front of the elf. The Drow smiles "Ha, you puny primitives have no concept of your situation. Kill them, I grow board with all this talk."

Combat Begins, Initiative is as follows:

Sasaki 21; Kaalek 20; Banwyl 19; Mossaka 19; Dark Elf 12; Horatio 11; Tenos 11; Men 10.

~These men seem more proficient with the use of these 'boomsticks' than I. I am sure my prowess with the blade is greater than any melee ability they might have, however.~

Throwing his 'boomstick' to the ground, "Bah, tis a peasant weapon anyway..." Sasaki charges the nearest man, slicing a wicked arc with his Katana on line with the man's throat.

Seeing where all this business is headed, Kaalek and Quarrop immediately make for cover. As Sasaki casts down his weapon, Kaalek whispers to Quarrop to try dragging it over.

One of Quarrop's eyes focuses on the "boomstick" and lightly glows as it projects a mage hand to try and pull it over...

Ignoring the officer's taunts, Banwyl tumbles again, this time trying to put himself between Horatio/Kaalek and the rest of the enemy. The arbiter trains his new weapon on the closest soldier and pulls the trigger once more.

Horatio will again feign weakness as he falls to the ground and trying to conceal the summoning of a crossbow at the sametime.

Hearing the boomstick fire in answer to his taunt, Mossaka crouches down again. It then occurs to him that the manlings are probably not going to stop firing the things. Mouth turning down and brow lowering nearly over his eyes, the drogre takes flight once more.

Now airborne, he skims just over the tops of the trees, occasionally dipping left or right for cover, the branches grazing meaninglessly off his thick hide. Ahead, he can see the manlings. His eyes narrow dangerously and tree trunk-thick arms reach forward with claws spread.
