"Hmm, interesting..."

OOC: let's grid this, origin being the lower left hand corner, starting at 0... So, it would look like this:

(0,2),(1,2),(2,2)
(0,1),(1,1),(2,1)
(0,0),(1,0),(2,0)

and Tenos just pressed (1,1)

Tenos grins cockily. "Heck, it didn't kill me yet. Let's try a 'river' piece..."

He then jabs (0,0)

Horatio is constantly looking around, he will look at the box to see what is going on with it then he will look back to see what is going on in the forest, kind of keeping watch but he is doing so he does not get snuck up on.

At the fourth square pressed, the object makes a little beep then the entire square resets and turns blue again. You notice that it's blinking much faster then when you first approached the cylinder.

"Well, that's not a good sign... Anybody else want to try? I've looked this over, and it looks like the top row is the only pattern where each piece is significantly different from the others. I'm thinking maybe pressing all three of them at once... Any thoughts?"

"I say knock yourself out, Tenos, but can I try something first?" Banwyl asks and steps forward. "The moons seem to get larger in each successive symbol. I have no idea if this will work, though."

He presses in sequence:

(0,2)(2,0)(1,0)(2,1)
