Dragonstar: Deep Space Campaign, Part One: Taken

Sasaki will bind his own wounds as best he can, then take to the air to search for any other incoming threats.

Kaalek commands the formian to stand nearby for the duration of the summoning, and Quarrop floats nearby, keeping careful watch for anything immediately suspicious.

 

[Mirth]

Standing just beneath the creature's tentacled maw Banwyl raises his weapon up to the creatures face and fires burning a hole through its brainpan. It collapses dead and then fades away.

Banwyl (13 Dmg)

As soon as the creature dissipates, Banwyl drops the lightstick and sits down heavily. Groaning from the multiple attacks he has sustained, the arbiter begins searching through his pack, finally pulling out a sheaf of papers. Looking up at the others, he says, "I have some healing scripts here, if anyone has need." He waits for the others to respond to his offer before using one of his Scrolls of Cure Light Wounds on himself. Once he has healed a bit, Banwyl slings the lightstick over his shoulder and stands, moving into a defensive stance and preparing for another unprovoked attack.

 

[Calim]

"I could use some of that healing."

With that Horatio falls to the ground.

Upon first look he looks dead but not quite.

After making sure that no other threats are approaching, Sasaki will descend. "I too am wounded seriously."

 

[Velenne]

For a long time, Mossaka just stands there with a dumbfounded look on his face. This isn't too atypical, so those who knew him wouldn't be too alarmed. At last, the effect wears off but he remains complacently standing still with his arms at his sides.

An idea floats by in his head and he relflexively kills it. Then another... and another... until finally the motor output becomes too much for his brain to squash and he begins to move again.

First, the drogre looks around for more beasties to squish. All he sees are Bighat, Fuzzyhead, Birdieman, and Stick walking around bleeding. Again, a thought crosses his mind but this time he doesn't squish it because it looks funny.

"Where funny bears go?"

 

[Vargo]

Tenos shakes his head clear, the mutters something under his breath about traps.

 

[Elrick]

Banwyl uses three of his scrolls to heal himself and his companions. ( Banwyl healed for 10 pts. Horatio healed for 5 pts. Sasaki healed for 6 pts.)

All is quiet in the forest clearing for the moment. Two of the four moons have risen higher into the night sky. No sign of the squid-bears remain, even their blood on your clothes is gone.

Only Tenos' keen elven ears are able to hear the distant sounds of rustling in the forest to the north. [Listen check +29]

 

[Vargo]

"Let's keep it quiet and check out that noise, okay? I'll scout, if anybody else feels stealthy, feel free to come along."

With that, Tenos sheds his armor, and stealthily moves towards the noise, keeping to the shadows.

 

[ErichDragon]

Sasaki does not feel very stealthy, so he will remain behind and cover his new companions with the 'boomstick'.


OOC: I can just picture Sasaki now, looking like one of the birdmen from the Flash Gordon movie.
