Plot & Poison is decent - not quite up to the level of Hammer & Helm, but I did find quite a few useful ideas in there that will make it into Queen of Lies when I run it.

Doh!! Forgot about Queen of Lies. I even have the module on my shelf... <smacks self>

Hmmm... I didn't think the drow issue of Dragon really had all that much to offer.

I think we all know that the true question about drow is how do you pronounce it; like cow or crow? :)

thought the drow issue was fantastic myself. Really fleshed out a society in my mind.

and you pronounce it like cow.

I thought that Dragon issue was fairly cliche and unimaginative. I guess I was looking for a little more detail than "drow are really EVIL, especially the women."

And no, I don't pronounce it like cow.

BAD Joshua! BAD!

of course it is pronounced as cow.

Some say 'potato' and some say 'potato' :p

To stick in my 2 cents, I think CotSQ is an excellent adventure, although if your players are not used to subtlety they will probably have a lot of problems. Check out my Story Hour (in my sig) for an example of this module in action, or go to the SH forum and check out Ziona's Unusual Heroes or gfunk's CotSQ SH. IMO all are excellent examples of what can be done with this adventure.

I also love Plot & Poison and would recommend it highly to any drow lovers out there. IMHO it is definitely a step in the right direction of making the drow as vicious and evil as they are supposed to be. My players have started cursing even louder since I rewrote all the NPC's in CotSQ using this book :D
