In the NEW pdf, on page 114, it says "one dose of a drug can be created by performing a major chemistry science"

no period.

This doesn't seem like it can be the entirety of the rule. It doesn't seem complete to me. So I assume the sentence got cut off?

I checked the errata, and I didn't see anything.

I have a player who (judging by what he's doing in Shadowrun) is going to be drawn to do hideous things with drugs and poisons, so I need to get this right.

Looks like the end of the sentence is cut off, yeah.

One dose of a drug can created by performing a major chemistry science with a difficulty equal 20 + one percent of the drug's value. Such a drug is unlicensed, cannot be legally sold, and spoils after one day.

(Basically, you can create a single dose in an emergency but you can't stockpile them or anything; that's the sort of thing I'd write a Chemist career for).
