Druid/Monk AL legal stuff (Pulling out of a different thread)

Kalani, can I pull your leg for a minute?

It occurs to me that if an AL Druid goes to Ravenloft and uses _wild shape_ to turn into a Wolf, the reaction she receives - before an attack roll is even required - will be the natives yelling "WEREWOLF !" and running away in all directions at high speed.

The natives will presently return with torches, pitchforks, silvered weapons (probably a knife from somebody's nice table service), a sprig of wolfsbane, and whatever else folklore says makes werewolves go away.

I would see that as a VERY APPROPRIATE response. People in Barovia are highly superstitious, where even Elves and Dwarves are exceedingly rare and usually seen as someone who is cursed (rather than simply another race). Mages are known, but even they are rare (and treated with a great deal of superstition, and fear). Druids - almost unheard of.

Think of how the common people would react during the Inquisition, during the Salem Witch Trials - or during the dark ages when faced with Rabies, Hypertrichosis, and other disorders.
