Druid with emphasis on Wildshape

Master of Many Forms: I prefer the 3.0 Shifter version. The fact that a Druid with this PrC can assume the forms of Aberrations but not Magical Beasts confuses me to no end. Many Sylvan creatures are Magical Beasts. Which would seem to be a natural form type for a Druid. How much more unnatural can you get other than an Aberration?

Natures Warrior: This looks interesting but I've never used it in play nor seen it used. At only five levels it looks tempting.

Warshaper: Much the same as the Natures Warrior above.

Combing these last two PrC's might be interesting.

Or should I go with a straight Druid and just customize him with Feats? Extra Wildshapes, faster Wildshapes, etc.

Any thoughts? TIA.

Straight Druid is proving to be a lot of fun, and quite powerful (8th so far). Natural Spell is a must so you can cast while wildshaped. I need a source with more beasts to wildshape into. The core books are kinda light in flyers I think. Pickup a monk's belt for added melee goodness.

I've had good experiences with the Druid/Warshaper/Nature's Warrior. You get to be a really good Wildshaper. Your spells are kind of shafted, but if you use them only for buffing spells, it's perfect.

Be sure to take Weapon Focus (Claw) or something, Combat Expertise, and Sense Weakness (from Draconomicon) as getting by DR is hard to do as a Wildshaper.

In terms of feats, make sure to get at least a 13 Dex. It's one of the prereqs for Fast Wildshape, which allows you to both wildshape and get a spell off in one round.

Is Sense Weakness a Feat? I didn't see it in the Feat section...

Yeah, it's a feat. Last one, I believe, in the feat section for PCs. Y'know how the book is divided up into "... For GMs" and "... For PCs" The latter.

Playing a druid, I wonder if it was a mistake to not take 13 Str for Power Attack. I'll eventually get it in Earth/Water Elemental forms, but not in any other forms.
Sometimes you fight things that have lots of HP but low AC.

Warshaper doesn't grant you Wild Shape progression. Don't take it until you are satisfied with the forms you have access to (such as Huge forms or high-HD Large forms). MOMF is supposed to grant Wild Shape progression or else the Gargantuan forms would never be possible.

IMO, Shapechange is so powerful that it's hard to accept any PrC that reduces spellcasting progression... but a few levels of Nature's Warrior might be worth it... except for the fact that Track is hardly worth taking once you can wildshape into wolf form and get it for free.

Undead or Constructs, like what the 3.0 one gave? My guess is that they didn't want to give access to half the MM, which Magical Beast would.

You could talk to your DM about letting you take the feat anyway, and it only be available in forms with 13 or above STR?

I can understand cutting Undead and Constructs. I would have done the same had I designed the PrC. But Aberrations are just as alien to a Druid as a Zombie or an Iron Golem. While Magical Beasts are part and parcel of the Sylvan world. Which is the heart of any European type natural setting. Druids belong in a Sylvan forest. So I can't understand why they can't wildshape into the creatures that live in that forest.

I suppose I won't be playing a MoMF's. If I GM one I will House Rule that Aberration forms are not allowed but Magical Beast forms are.
