Druidic Stronghold Plan?

Thanks for the link, I'm just checking it now!

As for the stronghold being indistinguishable; the druids there were nowhere near powerful enough to hide it in an extradimensional space, and as something created primarily as a headquarters for the military Knights of the Thorn it needs to be quite big and functionally defendable. Certainly, it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb from the forest (and hence why i wanted the organic fortress grown from trees :) ) but it's not just the small home of one druid - it *was* a bastion of power.

I think the phrase druid stronghold is a contradiction of terms. A druid shouldn't want or need a specific stronghold. All of nature is their ally. Building any kind of residence, even one in a tree, seems to me completely out of character.

YMMV of course.

I have to disagree. The druids of the area, mostly gnolls, are fully aware of the need for good defence, especially with a bordering nation that has begun to deploy genetically tailored monsters into their lands just to test their combat capabilities. The stronghold is also not just for druids - it's the home of a knightly order, who need barracks, training grounds, etc. An armed camp with only sentries for guard is too weak, whereas a proper stronghold provides what they need.

Also, this particular stronghold exists because it guards something - or rather did guard something, which the goddess of nature had kept hidden there. Which is, of course, why it was attacked by the evil guys...
