DSL/Cable/Wireless in Silver Spring, MD

My wife and I will be moving to a new apartment in Silver Spring Maryland (almost Adelphi) in the latter half of July of this year, and our current ISP will be unavailable to us. At current, my options appear to be Verizon DSL and Comcast Cable Internet for high speed internet, though I'd definitely consider a wireless provider if one was available.

So, if you know anything about the options in the area, and have any relevent advice, please share!

I live in Silver Spring and use Verizon DSL. I have no complaints with the service.

We're currently subscribed to their 1.5 mb downstream plan, but they do have packages with higher bandwidths. They recently released their FIOS service, which I believe is fiber-to-the-premises. This offers bandwidths much higher than the standard DSL, and I believe that it exceeds the bandwidth offered by broadband cable.

I had Comcast when in Atlanta, never had a problem with it.
My brother in Winchester and Aunt and Uncle down in Alexandria both have the Verizon DSL, no complainents either.

Also just to let you know there is a little known package with Comcast that they had to Grandfather in from when they bought out ATT. Get your basic cable, cable internet, and digital phone line for $100/month. Don't know if they still have it, but they had it when I moved the family up here last year.

Hope that helps.
