When I play a highly intelligent character, I get a list of seldom-used words and use them. Look up all your spell names in Latin, or another “smart” sounding language, use that in their place. When you're a wizard and have particularly high intelligence, you run out of skills to put your points into ... so pick speak language.
Highly intelligent fighters have a flare for extravagant tactical plans - but often using wisdom as a dump score - that look good on paper, failing horrible when executed.
Highly intelligent rogues tend to like contraptions that make their lives easier, some find taking a level or two of wizard to be equally beneficial.
As a guideline, when playing a highly intelligent character, play them like an uber-nerd. Huge vocabulary, remember those bonus languages, and always make obscure references.
